Messaging

• Messaging Type - Select the method to activate the messages on the clock.
  • Use Clock Settings - Select this option to use the settings that were configured for the clock.  No employee override will be used.
  • Messages By In/Out Punches - In/Out Punches will activate messages at the clock for the employee. A text message will display on the clock when the employee punches.
    • Show Message - Select for In Punches, Out Punches, or for both.
      • Message To Show - Select the text message to show on the clock's display when the employee punches.
      • Number Of Times To Play This Message - Select how many times the text message will occur.
    • Play Sound - Select for In Punches, Out Punches, or Both. A sound file will play at the clock when the employee punches.
      • Sound to Play - Select the sound file to play at the clock when the employee punches.
      • Number Of Times To Play This Message - Select how many times the sound file will play.
    • Show Message And Play Sound - Select for In Punches, Out Punches, or for both. A text message will display and a sound file will play when the employee punches.
      • Message To Show - Select the text message to show on the clock's display when the employee punches.
      • Sound To Play - Select the sound file to play at the clock when the employee punches.
      • Number Of Times To Play This Message - Select how many times the message will display and the sound file will play.
  • Messages By Time Ranges - Define a window of time when messages will be active at the clock for the employee.
    • + - (buttons) - Use the + to add a new time range.  Use the - to delete an existing time range.
    • Active - Select this option if the time range is to be enabled when the employee punches at the clock.
    • Start Time - Set the time when the message should start being active.
    • End Time - Set the time when the message should stop being active.
    • Sound - select the sound file to play at the clock when the employee punches.
    • Message To Display - Select the text message to show on the clock when the employee punches.
